Ok well Andy Tilly used this in one of his messages at camp and I'm going to use it because I thought it was really good.
He started out saying that his Grandpa had given him some advice saying, "Everything given to you for free is worthless."
So that makes sense I guess----NOT!
That's not true at all, because guess what? The most valuable thing in your life was given to you for free. Yup you guessed it, the gift was:
Life.
God gave you a free life, free!
So if it's free then why are you using it for yourself?
pass it on! give your life to someone! and not just one someone, be a servant to everyone!
Jesus gave you something, so use it! and not for yourself.
Because if I can tell you something right now that not what Jesus gave it to you for.
So what will you do? Will you use it for yourself? Or will you use it to be a servant to everyone around you?

ahh the memories :) that was a good message....as far as giving my life away im not quite sure! i mean, i could say serving...but isn't that pretty typical? im sure that when the time is right, God will provide the opportunity for me to lend a hand. dont get me wrong i loooooooove serving!!!*sigh* i have a lot to work on :)
Very nice blog, and i LOVED that service. its odd, but for some reason its pretty hard to LIVE the life He gave us. but awesome insight!
Well written, well thought out. And you're right. Our life wasn't given to us for US! It was meant to give away...and give, and give, and give.
